Before the tan

 Exfoliate 24 hours before – Remove dead skin with a gentle scrub or exfoliating mitt.

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before – Freshly shaved skin can cause uneven absorption.

No lotions, oils, deodorant, or perfume the day of your tan.

Skip makeup and arrive with clean, dry skin.

Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment (flip-flops are ideal).

Right after tan

Stay dry for 8 hours.

Avoid sweating, swimming, or rain during development time.

Do not shower early unless you were given a rapid-rinse formula.

Wear loose clothing to prevent streaks.

Sleep on dark sheets the first night (bronzer may transfer).

After your first shower

Moisturise daily with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion.

Pat dry after showers — don’t rub.

Avoid long hot baths, pools, and exfoliating products.

Stay hydrated — healthy skin keeps your tan longer.

Expect your tan to last 5–10 days with proper care.
